10-Day Guided Journey for Couples Day 1
Theme: WORTH
Love can cross many boundaries — but class often lingers quietly in the room.
This 10-day experience is designed for couples from different class backgrounds who want to understand how class and cultural capital shape the ways they love, argue, communicate, and connect.
Through guided reflection, storytelling, and structured conversations, you’ll explore how class influenced your sense of worth, access, shame, survival, and power — and how those stories still show up between you.
Each day introduces a new theme, from Worth and Access to Repair Language and Celebration, helping partners build empathy, trust, and emotional fluency around class-based differences.
You’ll learn how to:
- Recognize class-driven habits and communication patterns
- Move from silence or shame toward openness and curiosity
- Develop shared language for repair after class-related conflict
- Honour both partners’ histories while creating a more equal emotional culture
This is not a lecture — it’s a lived, compassionate process for couples ready to love across difference with more awareness, dignity, and depth.
Come as you are. Leave with a stronger bond — and a clearer understanding of how class shows up in love.

Lesson 2: Class and Access
Not all access comes from money. Some people inherit the confidence to speak up, network easily, and feel at home in any room. Others inherit silence, caution, and the belief that belonging must be earned.
This lesson explores how class and culture quietly shape comfort, confidence, and connection in mixed-class relationships. Through stories like Leo and Safiya’s—where one partner feels out of place while the other assumes all is fine—you’ll learn to spot unspoken differences in access and how they affect closeness.
You’ll reflect on your own experiences, explore where comfort or exclusion shows up in your relationship, and practise tools to bridge those gaps.
Learn how to:
- Recognise how class and upbringing influence communication and confidence
- Understand what “access” really means in love and partnership
- Build empathy and language for class differences without blame
Join this self-paced online module and begin creating a relationship where both partners feel equally seen, heard, and at home.
Module 11: Class & Cultural Capital in Mixed Relationships – Workshop
Live Weekend Workshop for couples
When love bridges class differences, unspoken stories about worth, belonging, and confidence can quietly shape how partners connect. This immersive weekend workshop is designed for couples who want to understand — and heal — how class and cultural capital influence their relationship dynamics.
Across two days of guided dialogue, reflection, and practice, you’ll uncover how class stories live in your communication, emotions, and sense of equality. With the support of experienced facilitators, you’ll move from awareness to repair — learning how to talk about class without blame or shame.
Saturday: Origins of Worth & Class Stories
Begin with personal reflection and storytelling. You’ll map your upbringing on the Class Ladder, explore moments of being judged or admired for your class background, and uncover how inherited messages about “enoughness” still shape your relationship today.
Sunday: Repair, Respectability & Real Talk
Deepen the work through respectability roleplays, somatic grounding, and guided “Real Talk” conversations. You’ll practice using repair language to bridge class-based misunderstandings and discover what emotional equality feels like in your partnership.
By the end of the weekend, you’ll leave with:
- A clearer understanding of how class shapes self-worth and connection
- Tools for communicating across difference with respect and empathy
- Shared language to repair tension and strengthen trust
This is more than a workshop — it’s a transformative space for couples ready to build love that honours both partners’ stories and transcends class barriers.

Module 11: Class & Cultural Capital in Mixed Relationships – Zoom
Online Workshop Series – 3 x 90-Minute Sessions
Even in loving relationships, class can quietly shape how partners express worth, power, and care. This three-part online workshop helps couples unpack how class backgrounds influence communication, confidence, and emotional connection — and build tools for navigating those differences with honesty and respect.
Over three interactive sessions, you’ll explore the invisible class “scripts” that shape your love story and learn how to replace tension or silence with curiosity and compassion.
Session 1 – The Class We Carry
Trace your personal class story — where you started, where you are now, and how early messages about success and worth still echo in your relationship. Using a visual “Class Ladder,” you’ll begin to see how your family’s beliefs shaped your sense of value and belonging.
Session 2 – Clashing Scripts & Hidden Power
Explore how class shows up in tone, language, and emotional expectations. Through real-world case studies and “Real Talk” dialogue practice, you’ll learn to recognize the subtle power dynamics that drive misunderstandings — and begin transforming judgment into empathy.
Session 3 – Rebuilding on Purpose
Learn to speak love in class-aware ways. You’ll craft new repair language, practice vulnerability with your partner, and end with shared commitments for continuing this work with dignity and care.
By the end of the series, you’ll have:
- Deeper insight into how class influences your relationship
- Tools for communicating through difference with clarity and warmth
- A shared language for repair and mutual respect
This is a space for couples who want to love consciously — to move beyond class scripts and toward equality, safety, and genuine understanding.
Join us live on Zoom for three sessions of honest conversation, connection, and growth.
